ENVIRONMENTAL FORENSIC INVESTIGATION

Environmental forensics rely on the integration of multi-disciplinary expertise centering on understanding the fate and contaminant of chemical contaminants. One of the key aspects that us chemist provide is the ability to connect the physical -chemical properties with what is observed on the site.

CHEMOMETRICS AND DATASCIENCE CONSULTING

The rapid advancement and increased ability to resolve chemical components has superseded the common procedures for forensic data analysis. Chemometrics is a disciplined blended in data science that aims to efficiently extract information from the expanding inventory of measurable chemicals.

BIOMONITORING

Chemical exposure in human and wildlife is often determined through the measurement of known contaminants and/or their metabolites in matrices such as tissue, blood, milk and urine. Most samples will have measured values due to extreme sensitives of the analytical instruments, however interpretation lies in multi-disciplinary approaches to understand exposure.

ARSON INVESTIGATION

Provides state of the art analysis and consulting for detection of ignitable liquid residues (ILRs) for arson investigations and arsonous wildfire investigations. Through the mix of data science and analytical chemistry I can help determine presence, absence and forensic identification of sources of ignitable liquid residues.
